Go to the Don’t have an account? section on the bottom of the screen and click on the Create an Account button. Fill in the necessary details and then click Continue.
Open your email app, click on the Magic link sent, (or type in the code) and follow the on-screen prompts to enter the app.Once in the app, click on the first section Get started and click on Register a Kit.
Register your sample kit by scanning the BCRT000XXX barcode (on the tube) or manually entering the BCRT000XXX number (on the tube).
Click Continue.
Postnet: Choosing Postnet allows you to drop off your kit at your own convenience. A digital barcode will be created on your BioCertica App.
Aramex: Choosing Aramex allows you to have your sample collected at your preferred location. Just enter your contact and pickup details, then tap Schedule pickup. A digital barcode will be created on your BioCertica App.
Fill the tube with saliva until it reaches the “Saliva” line - not including bubbles.
Carefully unscrew the funnel, allowing the saliva to mix with the stabilizing solution. Discard the funnel.
Screw the cap on tightly to seal the sample.
Invert the tube 5 times to mix the sample into the stabilizing solution.
Place your sample inside the sample bag, seal it tightly. Place it back into your eightygood DNA test kit box, and place your DNA test kit box into the courier bag.
Keep the kit at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.
Postnet: When you drop off your sample at Postnet, present your digital barcode (available on the BioCertica App).
Aramex: When Aramex collects your sample, present your digital barcode (available on the BioCertica App).
You can track your kit progress on the app and view various articles on what is happening to your sample during this process.
You will also receive a confirmation email as soon as your sample arrives at the lab.
Remember to enable in-app notifications for updates.
Instead of a paper waybill, you will receive a digital waybill which you can access on your app. Please refer to steps 20 and 21 above.

Unfortunately, some Postnet branches struggle with the digital waybill. Please ask that they charge the delivery to BioCertica's account and that the package is sent delivered to: CAF DNA Sequencing Unit, Lab B102 Blk B JC Smuts Building Van Der Bijl Street Stellenbosch 7600
When registering your kit in the app, please make sure to:
1) Scan the barcode code on your premium member card.
2) 0Scan the barcode on the side of the saliva tube box. If you encounter issues with scanning the codes, you can manually register your kit by entering the following information: BioCertica ID: This is the number on your premium member card that starts with 589... Saliva Sample: This is the BCRT number found on your saliva tube. Enter "BCRT" followed by the last 4 digits of the barcode. If these steps don't resolve the issue, please email info@eightygood.com.
Your sample will be fine as long as you keep it out of direct sunlight and ensure it is well mixed with the solution in the tube. This solution is a buffer that will keep the sample stable but please do send your sample in as soon as possible.
